Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about awards

Does SelexIQ Impact guarantee I will win an award?

No. SelexIQ Impact provides guidance, mentorship and preparation. Independent award organisers make all selection decisions. We never promise an award, nomination, scholarship or selection.

What is the difference between an award and a competition?

Awards typically recognise past achievements through nomination or application. Competitions involve creating a specific submission judged against other entries. Fellowships and summits are programme-based opportunities for learning, networking and development.

Can SelexIQ nominate me for an award?

Some awards require nomination by a third party. Our mentors can help you identify suitable nominators and prepare a strong nomination package, but the nominator must be an appropriate person independent of any judging process.

How often are deadlines updated?

Our team verifies deadlines against official sources. Each opportunity displays a last verified date. If a deadline has passed, the status automatically shows as Closed. Opportunities with unconfirmed dates are clearly labelled as Dates TBA or Verification Required.

Do I need to be a SelexIQ student to use the Awards Hub?

The Awards Hub is publicly accessible. Anyone can browse the directory. Personalised matching, readiness tracking and mentor guidance are available to enrolled SelexIQ students.

Create meaningful impact. Prepare confidently for recognition.

Our promise is not guaranteed awards. Our promise is to help you build authentic impact and prepare with confidence.
